Adventures of Superman 632
September 2004
Lois Lane got shot while covering the war in Umec (which actually stands for Unnamed Middle Eastern Country, because I didn’t want to come up with a fake name, and then the shorthand worked so well I decided to just stick with it and thus avoid ugly comparisons best left to Queen & Country). Issue 632 is about what happens when some dumb son of a bitch puts a bullet into Superman’s true love, even if the self-same son of a bitch had no idea that was who s/he was shooting at the time. Superman, it turns out, does not react the way one might think he does.
